Technological advancements in Pakistan are on the rise and it has been recently reported that around 50% of people have access to 4G services in the country. According to the report, 4G users in the country experience an average speed of 11.71 Mbps on local 4G networks. What’s interesting here is that average speed of 4G in Pakistan is just below the USA’s average speed i.e. 14.99 Mbps, reported OpenSignal in its latest network report on 4G services.
As per the survey, which is based on millions of tests that were conducted from several thousand devices, Pakistan currently ranks higher than Iran, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Argentina, Indonesia, and India in terms of average 4G speed.
The report also highlights that Singapore has the highest 4G speed, which is around 45.62 Mbps. South Korea acquired the second slot while Hungary is at the third spot for the highest average 4G speed. In addition, OpenSignal revealed that approximately half of the population in Pakistan had access to 4G services during the time of survey, which is surprising. The report also indicates that 53% of Pakistanis can access 4G services but it didn’t mention where 4G coverage was available geographically.
