Following a surge in competition amongst the main players of Pakistan’s telecom industry, it is pretty evident that all market players are making efforts to retain their position in the industry. Many experts believe that the merger agreement between companies has posed a serious threat to other market players in the industry. Adding to that, following the new announcement, customers of both telecom companies will now be able to witness mobile broadband service of 3G and LTE based on the smartphones, coverage area, and SIM compatibility.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of 3G services for Warid subscribers and LTE services for Jazz subscribers”, said the company in a statement.
In order to activate LTE on Jazz platform, postpaid subscribers can dial *446*13#, whereas prepaid subscribers can dial *443*13# to activate LTE services. By subscribing to LTE services, 2G and 3G services will also be activated. On the other hand, Warid prepaid customers can dial *443*2# to access all the information about the packages and thereon subscription and postpaid customers can dial 321 to access 3G service.
