Huawei, the 3rd largest smartphone maker in the world, has been aggressively pushing global markets in an attempt to actively compete with Samsung, particularly in Pakistan where it has made an active push by introducing smartphone models for a variety of price ranges.
At the company’s Core Partner Convention Awards recently, Airlink Pakistan was awarded ‘Best Cooperation Award for 2016’, in recognition of Airlink’s constant efforts to promote the brand across Pakistan through its widespread network.
Accepting the award, the Airlink team dedicated the award to its late CEO Moazzam Hayyat Piracha for his efforts in establishing Huwaei’s business in Pakistan. Moazzam Paracha, CEO of Airlink, tragically passed away in Lahore Defence blast last month. Chairman of Airlink, Shaukat Piracha, and MD Muzzafar Hayyat, attended the event and collected the award on behalf of team Airlink.
The event held at a local Hotel consisted of a press conference addressing key updates across the company’s business including a future roadmap for the current year and areas of improvement.
While conferring the award the Vice President of Huawei’s MEA, Fanhong Bruce and General Manager (GM) of Huawei Pakistan, Blue King, appreciated the efforts and services of his team and Airlink in making Huawei Pakistan one of best mobile brands across the country.
The Deputy General Manager of Huawei Pakistan, Fraz Malik, also commended the services provided by Airlink and expresses to get strong collaboration in future. Adding to that, it is safe to say that Huawei has a good reputation of promoting their partners and the company has always appreciated the services that is provided by their partners across the country and all over the globe.
