As the competition in the ride hailing industry in Pakistan is soaring at a rapid pace, market players are striving to acquire competitive edge over each other by introducing new services. However, it seems that Careem is seeking to take the lead in the competition by announcing in a recent Facebook post that it would soon take its customers from one destination to another by air.
As it appears from the post, the ride hailing platform seems to offer air travel to its customer by letting them charter a plane to travel to various destinations privately.
However, it’s unclear whether the air service will be available to general public or corporate customers only. It’s also uncertain if the air service is limited to Pakistan only or can take customers abroad as well.
Unfortunately, the company did not offer much details about its new service as of yet. It’s also left ambiguous at the moment that in which parts of the country the ride hailing company plans to launch its air service and how much will it charge from its customers.
The company entered Pakistan’s market only a couple of years ago, but it managed to gain a significant market share in Pakistan’s ride hailing industry. Over the past few years, the company came up with improved service and more customer-centric features, compared to other market players, such as monthly packages.
We are not sure if it’s another marketing gimmick, however, we’re still waiting for the company to share details about its new service and will keep track on the story to update our readers.
