Avari Hotels Ltd has inaugurated Avari Xpress Boutique – a 24-bed hotel – in Multan. Byram D. Avari, chairman Avari Group of Companies said on Tuesday that his business group is also planning to establish another hotel in Multan. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the hotel, Avari said that construction of another hotel in the city is also under way.
It is pertinent to note that both projects are joint ventures of Multan-based Roomi Enterprises Ltd and Avari Hotels Ltd.
Sharing his opinion about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Avari said that Chinese investment will help in strengthening the economy. “China is investing $46 billion for its own economic survival, which will ultimately benefit Pakistan. This investment will not let Pakistan disintegrate,” he said.
He identified the fact that almost 22,000 Pakistani students are learning Chinese language in China. Moreover, various educational institutions across the country are also teaching Chinese language, he explained.
Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of Roomi Enterprises Ltd said that economic activities in southern Punjab, particularly in Multan, will increase with the establishment of hotels of the international standard.
